3 types of fish with different moving behavior.

Purple: move upward and slowly drops

Red: move up or down

Black: stays at the same position for a while, and then quickly move to another spot.


Wait 2-8 seconds for the fish to bite the bait and 0.8 seconds reaction time to catch the fish into the QTE phase. 


UI

Warn text- this is shown on top of the avatar when fish bite the bait.

Win text- shown at the center of the screen when successfully catches a fish.





Progress slider-slider on the right that shows fishing progress. 

QTE slider-slider on the left where player need to control a bar to catch fish.

Fish icon-show the current fish type and behavior 

Score system- on the top right corner of the screen to show the value of fish


Camera

Avatar is centered to fit the original game

Camera shake -When fish bite the bait. In the QTE phase when progress is greater than 70%


Creative part:

I implement the "treasure mechanic" from the original game but with different effect. The orange bar in the QTE slider can help player catch the fish by reducing the progress drop rate.

Camera shake has been added to the game to improve gaming experience. 

Fish behavior are changed to be different and fun to play. 

Score system has been added to encourage player to catch high valuable fish.
